Cecilia was released as a single from Ace of Base‘s third album “Flowers“. Inspired by the song of the same name by Simon & Garfunkel, This song features upbeat melodies and lyrics about a girl the same name who has stolen the singer’s heart. Although never released as a commercial single, it was promoted in Italy and Spain, and a 12” vinyl record featuring exclusive remixes was made available in Italy.
